Abigail (Abby) Wambaugh is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT # 108742) in the state of California. She holds a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller School of Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Broadcasting from Oklahoma State University.

 

Clients who find themselves at home in her practice are people who experience chronic depression or anxiety, individuals with a history of trauma, individuals with relationship issues, couples with difficulty resolving arguments, teens in crisis, and those feeling stuck or in transition.

 

Abby is a direct and empathetic therapist who values authenticity and laughter. She practices primarily from attachment and psychodynamic theories, while utilizing key interventions from CBT and ACT with a focus on mindfulness to manage symptoms. In additional to being a certified Havening practitioner, she is also a level II trained Restoration Therapist, which she utilize in couples work to help identify underlying patterns of interaction that lead to familiar fights and difficulty resolving arguments.
